From Easter egg hunts in a park to making spring-inspired crafts, there is something for everyone to do in Suffolk this holiday. 

Schools break up for Easter on Thursday, March 28 and have two weeks off before returning on Friday, April 12. 

Here are five cheap events in Suffolk for the whole family to enjoy this Easter.

1. Easter Trail

Where: Clare Castle Country Park, Malting Lane, Clare, C010 8NW

When: Friday, March 29 until Sunday, April 7

Cost: £2 per trail sheet

Find 20 Easter-themed discs hidden around the park featuring eggs, chicks and more. 

Once all have been found return the sheet to the visitor centre, office or Platform One café to receive a small treat.

2. Easter Paw-ty at the Museum

Where: National Horseracing Museum, Palace Street, Newmarket, CB8 8EP

When: Saturday, March 30

Cost: Free for children (£5 for adults)

Explore the museum and follow the Easter Trail designed for families and their pet pooches. 

There will also be free creative activities as well as a dog show to compete in.

3. Spring activities

Where: Flourish & Bean, The Street, Bramford, IP8 4DU

When: From Saturday, March 30

Cost: £1

The café is hosting a series of Easter-themed events throughout the holidays. 

It includes free spring craft activities and a sunflower competition that will cost £1 per child.

4. Easter Egg Hunt

Where: Sutton Hoo, Tranmer House, Woodbridge, IP12 3DJ

When: Friday, March 29 until Sunday, April 14

Cost: £3 (plus admission for non-National Trust members)

As part of the National Trust's Easter events, Sutton Hoo is hosting an Easter egg hunt through the archaeological site.

Try to find the six hares hidden in Top Hat Wood before receiving a chocolate prize.

5. Treehouse Easter Egg Hunt

Where: St Augustine's Gardens, Ipswich, IP3 8NS

When: Friday, March 29

Cost: £3

Organised by charity EACH, the Easter egg hunt will take place at its Treehouse hospice. 

There will also be stalls and activities, refreshments and a petting zoo.
