Pet pooches of all different shapes and sizes were out in force in Sudbury on Saturday.
The Friends of St Peter’s Sudbury held a dog day at the church building in the Market Hill from 10am-3pm.
All sorts of breeds were brought along by their owners to attend the event, which included a pop-up cafe.
There were also visits from several groups including the Cinammon Trust – a national charity that provides support to older people who have pets.
Animal rescue, police, Sudbury commonlands rangers, and SESAW (Suffolk and Essex Small Animal Welfare) were all out in force to support the event as well.
The event was held to raise funds for the Friends of St Peter’s Sudbury, which is a registered charity.
Entry was free to the event but there were a number of other stalls there, including Hugo’s Pawtisserie, which is an East Anglian company that has created its own handmade, healthy food treats for dogs.
