A diver was hurt after their car rolled on a south Suffolk road this afternoon.

Suffolk police were alerted to a single vehicle accident on the B1508 near Little Cornard at around 3.20pm.

A police spokesman said the driver of a blue Peugeot had suffered minor injuries after the vehicle rolled.

Sudbury Police tweeted that the road had been closed in both directions, however later updated to say one lane was open and to “use with caution”.

The Peugeot, which is reported to have finished the roll back on four wheels, is being recovered, but the road is said to be passable.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust has been called to treat the driver.
