FIRE crews have this afternoon dealt with two fires reported in homes in two parts of Suffolk.
The first was reported in a flat in East Street, Sudbury, just before 5pm. By the time the crews from Hadleigh and Sible Hedingham arrvied those inside had managed to put out the fire.
Oxygen therapy and first aid was given to occupants who were suffering with shock and the effects of breathing smoke.
Then at 5.30pm, a crew from Framlingham was sent to a house in New Lea, Badingham, after a chimney was found on fire.
Crews are currently on scene dealing with the fire using chimney rods
