A Suffolk-based recruitment expert has launched a business designed to make life easier for companies searching for new employees.

Brett MacDonald is the man behind Talent Ninja, specialist software that allows companies to automate the process of posting their job adverts across multiple online job boards and social media platforms.

Since launching the business last September, the company has signed up 1,600 employers to the service including the likes of Coca Cola, Nestle and Amazon, as well as numerous smaller firms and start-ups.

“For a company to find the right person to join their team, they now need to be present in all the places that talent might be looking, which could be anywhere in the world,” said Mr MacDonald, who runs his business from Sudbury.

“This is where Talent Ninja comes in. By signing up with us, employers can have access to a huge range of advertising platforms and the software manages it all for them, without the headache of having to pick, choose and manage which ones they want to use individually.”

Mr MacDonald has 14 years’ experience in recruiting and talent management and has worked in London and Suffolk, as well as locations across the Middle East and Asia. Many of the employers who have initially signed up to Talent Ninja hail from these overseas regions and Mr MacDonald is working on the next release of the software that he hopes will make inroads into the competitive UK and US recruitment market.

He added: “The UK and US market are very crowded, so we are developing some new features including an automated referral service.

“We’re raising funds for the development of Talent Ninja and are on the lookout for early stage investors. We are now primed for fast growth, have a strong established team and product roadmap.”
