Ipswich Town Insights - The BIG Blues podcast (Episode 4, post-Brentford)

The five-star Blues are bursting with confidence!

After four league wins and a Carabao Cup victory to start the season, Mick McCarthy’s men are on cloud nine, ahead of tomorrow night’s cup clash at Premier League Crystal Palace.

Can they maintain their perfect start to the season?

It will be a tall order, especially given the injury and illness crisis that has beset Portman Road since pre-season and, following their start, surely it’s all about the league right now.

Talking about the Championship, Fulham are next to test the Blues’ mettle, at Portman Road, next Saturday - last season’s play-off semi-finalists having made an indifferent start to the campaign.

Discussing the Cottagers, plus Town’s weekend victory at home to Brentford and the trip to Selhurst Park are Chris Brammer and Stuart Watson, who are currently thriving in Town’s purple-patch.
