Eggcellent Easter Extravaganza at Promenade Park, Maldon - Friday to Saturday, 11am-3pm

Join in the Easter fun with the Easter bunny, an egg-rolling competition, biscuit decorating, bouncy castle, games and an Easter Egg hunt.

There will be a story-telling corner, chance to meet little Pygmy hedgehogs and a fancy dress competition.

Spring Go Bingo, Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds - Saturday, 10am-3pm

Spring is in the air. Play bingo with a difference by exploring Nowton Park and searching for natural objects to tick off your list.

Find five in a row and collect a prize from the cafe.

There is no need to book. Quiz sheets cost £1 from the Visitor Centre.

Top Trumps - Biodiversity Rules at Africa Alive, all weekend

As part of EAZA’s Let It Grow campaign, Africa Alive is exploring the rich web of biodiversity - from the local to the global, from the miniscule to the massive.

Easter at the Aldeburgh Beach Lookout, Aldeburgh - all weekend

Create your own artwork this Easter. Visit Aldeburgh Beach Lookout, wander along the beach and collect found objects, creating our own artwork.

Entry is free.

Easter Speggtacular at Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm, Baylham - all weekend, 10am-5pm

Visit the farm for its biggest event of the year. The lambing tunnel will be a hive of activity where you can cuddle some newborn lambs as well as some Easter bunnies.

Or you can build a survival shelter in the den building area.

Entry costs £7 for adults and £3 for children aged four to 16.

Easter Egg Hunt at The Naze Education and Visitor Centre, Walton-on-the-Naze - Friday to Sunday, 11am-3pm

Can you find all of the eggs hidden on the Naze? If you do there will be a treat for you.

Entry is a donation of £5 per child.

Anglo Saxon Games and Viking Pastimes at West Stow - the First English Village - Saturday to Monday, 12pm

Ealdfaeder come to West Stow to present the fifth English National Hnefatafl Championships, with champion Tim Millar as tutor and judge.

No need to book and normal admission prices apply.

Humpty Dumpty’s Eggstravaganza - the Easter panto at the Spa Pavilion, Felixstowe - Saturday, 10.30am and 2.30pm

The Dennis Lowe Theatre Company is bringing one of the best-loved stories to life.

Join in as Humpty and his friends sing and dance their way through tales, with the audience encouraged to come of their shells and sing along.

Tickets cost £16 for adults and £12 for children.

Easter Egg Hunt at Snape Maltings - Sunday, 11am-4pm

Pick up a trail map from the visitor centre and search for the eggs around Snape Maltings.

Entry is free.

Easter Fun Day at Museum of East Anglian Life, Stowmarket - Sunday to Monday, 11am-4.30pm

Step out of the town and into the countryside as the museum’s 75-acre site springs back into life with its annual Easter Fun Day.

Activities will include a Peter Rabbit themed Easter egg hunt, lamb feeding and traditional farming equipment demonstrations.

Entry costs £8.25 for adults and £4.70 for children.

Easter Steam Up at Mid Suffolk Light Railway Museum, Wetheringsett - Sunday to Monday, 11am-5pm

The railway museum is holding an open day with two locos in steam. Visitors can ride on genuine Victorian four-wheel coaches.

Entry costs £10 for adults and £4 for children.

Jousting with the Knights of Middle England at Hedingham Castle - Sunday to Monday, 10am-5pm

The astounding Knights of Middle England will thrill the crowds with their jousting, bold and bright costumes as well as stunts such as saddle falls, drags and rearing horses.
