A man from Suffolk who was caught exceeding the speed limits on a village road in Lincolnshire has been ordered to pay out almost £350.
Lee Morris, of Rede Way in Great Cornard, near Sudbury, was caught driving a Volkswagen on the A151 in Whaplode on August 18, last year at a speed of 40mph.
The A151 is a restricted road within the boundaries of Lincolnshire and goes through the small village of Whaplode, near Holbeach, where the speeding offence happened.
The road has a speed limit of 30mph, meaning Morris had exceeded the limit by 10mph.
Morris pleaded guilty to a single charge of speeding and during a hearing at Boston Magistrates' Court in Lincolnshire last month he was ordered to pay a fine of £166.
Additionally, the 43-year-old has to pay a victim surcharge of £66, and £110 in total costs.
The total amount he has to pay out is £342.
Morris was also endorsed with three penalty points on his driving licence.
