The headteacher of a Suffolk primary school has resigned due to “personal reasons.”
Paula Hagan, head of Long Melford Voluntary Controlled Primary School, has left her post at the west Suffolk school.
A spokesman for Suffolk County Council, said: “Miss Paula Hagan has resigned as headteacher at Long Melford CEVCP School for personal reasons. We will work closely with the governing body and the Diocese over the appointment of a headteacher in the usual way.
“In the meantime, the deputy head is acting headteacher.”
