A beloved village pub which suddenly closed four months ago has been put on the market.
The White Hart in Boxford, near Sudbury, announced on social media in November that it was closing "for the foreseeable future".
The pub, which was owned by Spectre Leisure, issued a statement which said: "Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our control, we are devastated to announce this to you all."
Estate agent Everard Cole has now listed the property for sale – with offers in the region of £485,000 sought.
The 17th century pub sits on the banks of the River Box and has split trade areas that can seat 60 customers.

A new trade kitchen has recently been added to the property with the old kitchen transformed into a general storage area.
There is external access to private accommodation consisting of a lounge, kitchen, bathroom and three bedrooms.
All the fixtures on site are available in the sale price.
The pub can be bought on a freehold or a new lease is available for experienced operators at a commencing rent of £30,000 per annum.
