A Suffolk leisure centre was evacuated after a number of fire engines were spotted outside.
At least four fire engines were seen at the Kingfisher Leisure Centre in Sudbury.
People who were inside were evacuated and were made to stay in the car park.
A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said there was smoke coming out of a plant room in the basement.
"There was no visible signs of fire," the spokeswoman confirmed.
Firefighters isolated all the electrics and a stop call was made at 1pm by the fire service.
