People are invited to bring their picnic blankets and food for an event in Sudbury’s Belle Vue Park tomorrow.
The informal community picnic will take place from 12 noon as part of Field's In Trust's 'Have a Field Day' scheme, which champions green spaces and parks, helping to ensure they are saved for community use and fully appreciated and enjoyed.
Campaigners are currently fighting for Belle Vue Park to be preserved as it faces plans for a hotel, restaurant and car park on part of the site.
