Annual Christmas Tree Festival in St Peter's Church, Sudbury.

Brightly coloured Christmas trees decorated by local charities, schools and businesses have attracted thousands of visitors to a west Suffolk church.

Sudbury Talbot and Sudbury Rotary Clubs staged their annual five-day Christmas tree festival at St Peter’s on Market Hill up until Sunday. All proceeds from the festival will be shared between good causes in the local community.

During the six previous years that the festival has run, the Rotary clubs have raised a around £24,000 for local and international charities. Last year more than 7,000 visitors enjoyed the festival, taking time out from the hustle and bustle of yuletide preparations to pause and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. The festive mood this year was enhanced with live musical performances.
