Stars of jazz, rock and blues are being lined up to perform at a popular music festival this summer.

Planning is well underway for the 2015 Bures Music Festival, which will run from July 8 to 12. Organisers have hinted at what’s in store, starting with the big headline acts. These include Jo Harman, 2014 Female Vocalist of the Year at the British Blues Awards, who will headline on the Friday.

Saturday’s headliner is international Bee Gees tribute act Jive Talkin’ while on Sunday the highly acclaimed Rolling Stones reincarnation, The Stones, will top the bill.

This year, several big changes are taking place. A big top is set to replace the old marquee, offering a carnival-like atmosphere, more space for festival-goers and better staging for bands.

Each year, the not-for-profit festival raises thousands for local charities. Last year, they topped £12,000 and in total since the festival began in 1997, almost £170,000 has been collected.
